— Consultation

Tell us about your ground

Land (owned or hunted), what you want to build, and your timeline is plenty to start. We respond personally and promptly — and if the fit isn't right, we'll say so with equal speed. Residential commissions from $1M. Prefer to talk? (307) 217-5491.

A few people have asked what this form actually sets in motion, so here is the whole machinery in plain sight — what happens next, what the session covers, and what makes it most useful to you.

What happens after you press send

Your note goes directly to Bighorn's principals — not a call center, not a nurture sequence — and you'll hear back personally within 48 hours. That reply is a real response to what you wrote: first read on your land and program, the obvious questions we'll want answered, and proposed times for the consultation itself, held by phone, video or on site as geography allows. If what you describe isn't a fit for the material or for our calendar, we'll say that in the same 48 hours, plainly and with our reasoning. Nobody's time gets farmed here, including yours.

The session itself, in brief

Plan on roughly ninety minutes of working session, not audition. The agenda runs in four movements: a land interview (water, sun, soil, access — the parcel does most of the talking), your program sized honestly against our published numbers, the material conversation (strata palettes, single-mass versus insulated-core for your climate, where earth serves and where framing does), and a fit decision that runs both directions. We've published the whole agenda in the Journal if you'd like the long version before committing an evening.

What to have ready

Discretion

Clients at this level often prefer that a project stay quiet, and our default behavior assumes it: your information is seen by Bighorn's principals and no one else, nothing about your project is published or photographed without written permission, and we'll sign a reasonable NDA before the first substantive conversation if you'd like one. The form below asks only for what we need to be useful.

Fit runs both directions

We take a limited number of commissions a year, and the consultation exists to protect both parties' next two years. Some sessions end with soil sampling scheduled; some end with us recommending a different material, a different site or a different builder, with real numbers either way. You're interviewing us as much as the reverse — and an honest no, delivered early, is the second-best outcome this form can produce.

Your information goes to Bighorn's principals, once. No lists, no reselling, no drip campaigns.
